As God leads us into the next phase of His purpose for our life and ministry, we need to guard the revelation and doctrines that He has entrusted us with and pass it on faithfully to the next generation.
So in 2022, School of Theology (SOT) will be launching two online courses: “Introduction to Protestantism & Evangelicalism” as well as “Introduction to Pentecostalism”. These courses will be open to our SOT Alumni (in Singapore & overseas) and will cover topics like: Why must we, Protestants, hold on to the “5 Solas"" that differentiate us from Roman Catholicism? Why do Evangelicals need to defend the inerrancy of the Bible and actively promote the preaching of the gospel and social engagement? In classical Pentecostalism, why do we believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as the second blessing? We hope these courses will equip believers in doctrinal knowledge and bring clarity to the truths we hold fast to.
There are 10 classes for each course, taught on Wednesdays 7.30pm via Zoom. There will also be a time of Q&A at the end of each class. Course fee is a one-time payment of $107 per course.
Registration for the first course, “Introduction to Protestantism & Evangelicalism” is now open and lessons will commence 30 Mar. Do sign up by 21 Mar at the link below.
Registration for the second course “Introduction to Pentecostalism” will be open only later on in the year and the course will commence 29 Jun.
SOT Alumni, we want to encourage you to join this course. We pray that as we get deeper into Word of God, you will develop an unshakeable conviction in the promises of God and grow in your love for Jesus!
