In this encouraging message, Pastor Bobby Chaw exhorts the church to begin their 2022 with prayer, following Jesus’ habit of constantly being in prayer, even as He took His last breath. Pastor Bobby tells of how, because of the pandemic, he has cultivated a new routine of daily prayer, and five key truths. One, don’t despise the day of small beginnings. The only way to grow in prayer is to pray—start today and be consistent. Two, the Holy Spirit prays for us. When Pastor Bobby began recording prayers on voice message and sending them to his Chinese Service members, they were each ministered by the Holy Spirit. Three, God answers prayers. Our prayers trigger answers from God—take the first step to ask, and you will receive. Four, prayer is interaction with God, and in that process of interaction, transformation happens. Five, prayer is intimacy with God. Praying brings us into the presence of God, deeper and deeper each day. Listen to the sermon and take the step to make time for prayer and for God.
