Rhythms of Grace

This season of Lent, it's time to focus on Jesus and to be reminded that He came to take your burden away and to give you rest. In this encouraging sermon, Pastor Aries Zulkarnain takes us through a study of what resting in God truly means: looking to Jesus when the world is filled with anxiety, as it is during the current COVID-19 outbreak; and understanding that faith is not a reward-based system: God's blessings can't be earned. The currency of this great exchange is learning the unforced rhythms of grace—submitting to God to receive His rewards for us. Listen to this sermon for a revelation of what "not my will, but Yours be done" means.

It was all together a beautiful time online again with the devoted brothers and sisters that made this happen. Let’s decorate and prepare the way for Father. I pray that we can come together like we used too to celebrate you Abba but if your will is not this, I lay a palm branch down, celebrating and remembering you Father for what you did on Calvary for me.

The Cross of Christ Lin Junxian , Every so often, the way of the cross leads us out of our comfort zone. As Jesus’ disciples, we need to lay aside all selfish ambition and come to a place where we allow God to lay claim over our lives and say “not my will but Yours be done”—a place of total abandonment and surrender. After listening to the sermon I read this passage from the beginning of the 40 day bible reading on the App. Now in many ways it’s similar to what Pastor Aries preached but pastor also adds, what some may be experiencing by either knowingly or unconsciously doing, by using “good deeds “ as a reward system instead of a unselfish act of love. Unconsciously I think perhaps we all have a little of that but to what extreme it goes for some is only them, there self can ask God if we have any to remove it. Personally I was blessed by this sermon of what pastor Wu Yuzhuang said at end time of worship, on Psalm 138 . This week I was called up by my aunt, to let me know her husbands mum have passed on. She died of old age. Later that very same day my husband came home and told me that his sister have been diagnosed by coronavirus. Both these two people is/are on my prayer list. My aunt have wanted a baby for so long and I keep the faith and told her to do her best. My husbands sister had last year lost her husband and was on holiday last month with us. I had the opportunity to bring her to church! Hallelujah 😃 She was not a believer but I saw something that day take place in church as good worked his part after I did mine. When you have a selfless approach to Abba father and still eagerly waiting until father do his part, are so much rewarding. Psalm 27:14 - "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." ... Isaiah 30:18 - "Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!" I trust that God has the last say in my life and I don’t need to be afraid of the enemy questioning my motives, when my eyes are fixed on Jesus, my Lord my saviour, that saved a wretch like me! Like Pastor Wu Yuzhuang said, reading from psalm 138. My prayer is this... Finish what you started in me, God. Your love is eternal - don't quit on me now. I pray for you too brother and sisters in Christ don’t be dismayed for Father has already saved us in eternity. There is nothing we can do that will make him love us more. He will although let you have your way if continue to push to have your way, because he wants us have our free right. Like father has his freedom to with hold things from us. Example in Deuteronomy 29:29 . We don’t hear testimonies so often but I praise God for testimonies out there in times like these, they lift my spirit, just like this beautiful hymn Amazing Grace , “testimony” by John Newton I trust in your ways lord, help me not to stumble as I go reach to see you again. Amen
